Indie Irwin and the Croc Men

If you like the indie music sort of thing, here's a few to check out.

Laura Marling
Cute songs, along similar lines to Kate Nash and Soko, Laura Marling is a young British singer-songwriter. Her album Alas, I Cannot Swim also contains some Dido-style influences. The lead single, 'Ghosts', made it into JJJ's Hottest 100 this year.

Holly Throsby
An Aussie with a folksy, acoustic sound, she's released three albums. Her most recent, A Loud Call, is very good. 'Warm Jets' and 'Would You?' are two of the best tracks.

Bon Iver
American indie-folk band, led by Justin Vernon. The album For Emma, Forever Ago is interesting. The single 'Skinny Love' is probably the most recognisable track.

Of course, if you like indie music, you've already heard of all three of these and you're like 'Dude, get with the program! Listen to Pollyanna Locke or Gertrude Faison or Calvin Broadus.' (Those names don't actually exist... but they sound like indie folk singers, yes?)(Actually, one of them exists. Guess!)
