As you may know, Lil Wayne is a rapper (who is moving towards being a rocker). You may not know that he is also a massive sports fan. He regularly appears on ESPN in America, giving his views on the various basketball, football and baseball competitions. He also has his own blog on ESPN.com.
I find it fascinating when someone who is so successful at one thing is really passionate and knowledgeable about something else. Like when actress Geena Davis just missed out on qualifying for the US Olympic archery squad. Or how Rob Sitch is a qualified doctor, as well as being one of Australia's best comedic minds. Or how Kevin Rudd can lead our country and still find time to successfully berate air hostesses.
I just find it interesting to see people who have achieved tremendous knowledge or success in two fields.
Now for something completely different:
Heh awwwwww! For those who don't recognise it, it's a taun-taun sleeping bag. Han Solo cut open one of the animals and put Luke Skywalker inside it to keep him warm until they were rescued in The Empire Strikes Back. If that means nothing to you, then I'm sorry. But you probably need to watch Star Wars so your life is complete.
