A list for people over 18 who may not have been informed about these things yet
Mature adults... do not send attacking text messages at 11pm when they're angry with someone. They speak to them on the phone, or see them in person. During daylight hours.
Mature adults... occasionally help each other out with favours, like giving someone a lift, or cooking them dinner, or cleaning up.
Mature adults... do not give someone two car rides totaling less than 480 seconds and then demand petrol money two months later. It's petty.
Mature adults... also don't get upset when someone uses their Gravox to make gravy for the chips they're cooking for everyone to eat.
Mature adults... do not have to hide a computer game they bought from their partner in case they get angry that they're playing more WoW.
Mature adults... do not go into an hours-long foul mood when their partner suggests leaving some self-raising flour at someone else's house.
Mature adults... do not cry when they don't get their own way.
Mature adults... see more than their own side of the story. The ability to see two sides of an issue is a key trait of a mature adult.
Mature adults... learn from their mistakes.
Mature adults... wait until they are calm before confronting someone about an issue. This allows them to more clearly develop their own thoughts and reflect on the other person's point of view.
And a last one...
Mature adults... who do not understand any of my above points, should probably refrain from labeling themselves as "mature adults".
Yes, so I didn't call last night in anger. That call is coming this afternoon. Fun.
