the x factor 2010 blog - probably a bad idea really replacing simon cowell with howard stern, howard stern though controversial is not someone you would choose to host a family orientated show, maybe they think they would get ratings if they choose howard stern as simon cowell's american idol replacement but probably they would loose ratings in the long run and also change the american idol show too much as well.
