Suri Watch Down Under! The Cruises arrive in Australia

Here is our first glimpse of Suri on Australian soil - she touched down with her parents at Essendon Airport in Melbourne and it has been reported the family is staying at pal James Packer's penthouse at Crown Towers. We can't wait to see Suri out and about with her mummy & daddy and hopefully in some Australian designer children's labels. Katie is filming a movie here in Australia so hopefully we will see alot of Suri during their stay : )

Today my Wimbledon Womens favorite Caroline Wozniacki went out in the 4th round.

Though in contrast my Mens Favorite Andy Murray is through to the Quarter Finals, where he will play Juan Carlos Ferrero of Spain.

Murray played what he thought one of his toughest matches against Stanislas Wawrinka (19) of Switzerland.

He had to play his best Tennis to Win, and said so after the Match before leaving rhe court to a full house ovation.

The match was the latest run game ever at wimbledon finishing just before 11pm.

This was made possible by the use of the new roof at Wimbledon, which can turn the outdoor court into a indoor court, but Murray said the Atmosphere was still electric, and the game was played in a electrifying style.

The scores show how tough this match was going all the way to 5 sets.

This was the sort of game Andy Murray needed to test him and tune him up for the Quarter Finals, for him to get into gear and be ready.

But i think it just what Murray needed to get himself keyed in and focused, to be at his best, Murray seems to be at is best sometimes when under some pressure, it brings the best out of him, so now he should be ready to get further into the tournament.

As Andy Murray is top favorite to win this year he has to get through this tough games, as well as the easy ones, Stanislas Wawrinka made a real game of it for Andy Murray in this 4th round Match.

With a possible Final of Andy Murray vs Roger Federer on the cards.

Score another dollar for Tecmo aka Rio Blackjack

After purchasing DOA Blackjack Kasumi, I noticed Tecmo had another game on the app store. It's basically the same blackjack game, but stars Rio who is big in Japan, not so much here. It was listed for 99 cents so I decided to take the plunge so I could compare the two blackjack offerings (it's back up to $3.99 now). The above shot is Rio's default dealer outfit.

Rio's cowboy outfit is unlocked at the 300 chip mark.

Rio's third outfit is available after reaching 500 chips.

Rio's evening dress is unlocked at 800 chips.

The kung fu gear appears at 1000 chips.

Last, but not least the fetishy maid outfit was unlocked at 1500 chips. At least I think it was. From around the 500 chip mark, I'm not 100% sure what milestones tied into the outfits.

So which game is better? Even though Rio gives you more outfits and images US audiences probably haven't seen, it still comes down to which character you like better. If Rio was $3.99, there is no doubt I would have only bought Kasumi.

One more thing, both games require a lot of your iPhone's resources. You'll often have to power off and power on your phone to free enough memory to prevent crashes. This may not be an issue on the 3GS phones, but it definitely is for regular 3G.

Costumes of DOA Blakcjack Kasumi

Against my better judgment I purchased DOA Blackjack Kasumi version ($3.99). I shouldn't say it like that because it's not a terrible game at all. A very solid game of blackjack and a decent amount of items to unlock. It just doesn't take very long to unlock everything, even if you play just a few hands here and there. The costume you see above is her default outfit while dealing cards and in the intro screen. (sorry for the crappy pic quality. Hard to get good shots off the iPhone screen)

The player two white ninja outfit is unlocked by reaching 300 chips.


Kasumi's bikini is unlocked at 500 chips.


The last outfit I found was her cheerleader outfit at 1000 chips. I currently have about 2800 chips (that last push to 3000 is taking some time), but so far no more outfits.

I unlocked almost all of her gallery images. It's possible buying up everything could unlock one more thing. Anyone know?

Oh, one more slight embarrassing item (yes more embarrassing than the game itself). The name of the game is shortened on your app screen as "DOA BJ". I'm positive this was intentional.

well as predicted the wimbledon's top favorite for this years wimbledon has cruised with skill and perfect play into the 4th round.

at times putting his opponent viktor troicki into despair, often causing troicki to look up to the sky, to try and look for answers.

it was a straight forward 3 sets win, that now see's andy murray into the 4th round.

not sure when his next match is though, there is no play on a sunday, so i am guessing his next match will be either monday or tuesday, and probably sometime around 5pm.

so get your strawberries and cream ready and plonked infront of your tv to watch a brit on his way to the wimbledon final.

really playing well again, and cruising again into the 4th round at this rate.

andy murray is definitely playing like he cold win wimbledon and be the first briton to do so in about 73 years.

the last female win was virginia wade in 1977.

and for the mixed doubles it was jeremy bates and jo durie in 1987.

so come on andy, i think he has a chance to win wimbledon this year!.

Gordon Brown $100bn on climate change global warming

so gordon brown wants rich countries to spend $60bn a year on global warming actions.

to me i think this money can be better spent really, as i think global warming is more pie in the sky then it is actually made out to be.

to me weather change is a natural occurance that has happened for billions of years on this planet, and not something that human can really influence as such.

i think such large amounts of money could be better spent, for example better ways of dealing with floods, and draughts, for example.

not like the government proposes of just putting money into schemes, but more straight forward proven ideas that work.

well i think this is the last post from me tonight, as i cant stay up all night reporting on this story, i am not a professional news reporter after all, if you cant tell, but probably from my reporting you can tell.

i am just a blogger who needs some sleep, now if i was a real news reporter as such, i wouldnt be aloud to go to sleep now, they would be like this is a big story now report it!.

i said earlier that jackson died in hospital but it isnt really clear yet.

they said micheal jackson wasnt breathing at home, but does that mean he died at home or did he die in the hospital.

reports are not very clear yet on where micheal jackson actually died.

so at the moment i have said micheal jackson probably died in the hospital until more detailed reports come in.

so the death of micheal jackson will come as a big shock to the millions of his fans, as he was in the middle of doing loads of music tours, so you wouldnt of thought that he might be about to die.

i can see this death getting over shown on tv though, as these things seem to get made into a very big deal.

just watching wimbledon roger federer is already a set up against garcia lopez, and looks to be cruising quite steadly.

the wimbledon commentator greg rusedski says either andy murray or roger federer to win this years wimbledon.

greg was saying just because rafael nedal is not in wimbledon this year to defend his title.

that this shouldnt lessen the win if andy murray wins wimbledon this year.

the score at the moment is 2 games and 2 sets to federer, so he is winning quite easily.

andy meets big hitting latvian ernests gulbis in thursdays second round match, i think it should be a breeze for andy, i mean that in a kind of way that andy is playing very well, so there arnt many players at his level now.

"Once I managed to get the break in the third set I felt good. Staying calm was a huge part of doing that".

and he will need to keep calm as the pressure is quite high as he heads to be a no1 seeded player.

so i just watched the story that ed mcmahon died, and i have heard about him before, even though i dontwatch usa tv.

he was one of the big tv presenters in us tv history.

his full name is Edward Leo Peter "Ed" McMahon, Jr.

well he was born in 1923 and died in 2009 so was 86 years old when he died.

he was johnny carsons announcer on the tonight show from 1962 to 1992!, thats along time so he was doing that for about 30 years!.

he was in many shows.

he was also a fighter pilot in ww2.

he also was in the korean war in 1953.

he was on tv for nearly 40 years i think, thats quite along career.

after that bila dh sampai umah kitorang ajak Eddie gi kuar makan sbb birthday dia on 20th june bak kata citer P.RAMLEE,"KESIAAANNNNN" sbb xde sape ajak dia kuar makan!!!! kami pun ajak la Eddie makan kt KFC shah alam near the extreme park sbb kt situ ada children's park and dok kt open air but the chicken kt situ tak berapa juicy sgt..

Federal scandals have nothing on Tasmanian politics

The whole thing with Kevin Rudd and Wayne Swan allegedly helping one of Kevin's mates through a process to get Government funding? So boring. If it had happened in Tasmania, it would just be one of the seemingly hundreds of political scandals that come out every odd week in the local media (even weeks are reserved for stories about a Tasmanian AFL team).

Just today it was announced that yet another Government minister had resigned (that makes five just three years), this time due to a "whispering campaign" against her. She employed her mother, two sisters and a brother-in-law at her electorate office. Hey! Maybe they were the best people for the job, alright! And they just happened to all be related to her.

I think Uncle Kevin will be fine, and so will Turnbull. Swanny tried to muddy the waters by claiming one of his staffers was threatened by Turnbull at a party the other night. As a smokescreen, it hasn't been too effective yet. But Swan has to know he's in trouble. Because if it is proven that he misled Parliament, he has to resign. No doubt.

If you misled Parliament, clap your hands...

It looks as if someone in the Department has sent a (probably fake) email to the media, which seems to confirm that Kevin's mate was being given preferential treatment. This came after Wayne Swan told Parliament that John Grant, the PM's friend, was treated just like every other applicant.

That happened in the Tasmanian Parliament recently, and our Deputy Premier had to resign. He told Parliament one thing, an email emerged to prove the opposite, and that was that.

Whether or not the email is fake is beside the point. If the fact is established that Swan misled Parliament, then he has to go.

A sad loss

My generation does not have the passion for freedom and democracy that our predecessors did. We've grown up after the fall of the Berlin Wall, after Perestroika, after the Romanian revolution, after Tienanmen Square. We've grown up with the unlimited freedoms of the Internet, the spread of globalisation, the increasingly linked world economy.

Generation Y is more likely to care about the living conditions in third world countries, than about political and social freedoms. We are aware of hunger and devastation, but not of secret police and corrupt judicial systems.

For decades, everyone in the West was acutely aware of the horrific abuses of power in Russia, East Germany, China, and the Eastern Bloc countries. Media reports were front page, people who escaped from Russia were given sympathetic treatment and there was a clear distinction between free countries and oppressed ones.

Now though, it's like the large number of oppressive regimes still in power don't get the attention they used to get. They've been lost in the general news cycle.

I think it's sad. I think we've lost the passion for one of the most powerful ideas in the last two thousand years. Democracy has won the ideological battle! We won! But we don't seem to be taking advantage of that fact. Now is the time to press home the victory.

That's why I'm happy about what's happening in Iran. Because we take our freedoms for granted. There are 70 million people in Iran - a country with a rich intellectual history - who would love the freedoms and opportunities available in so many Western countries.

I think it is to the world's benefit that democracy is promoted across the globe. I think it was Tony Blair who said no two democratic countries have ever gone to war with each other. You want to stop war? Promote democracy. Is it a coincidence that the most dramatic increase in human knowledge and scientific progress has come in the one century where democracy has been in the ascendancy? I don't think so.

It is sad that we don't seem to care as much about our ideological heritage as the generations before us. To be fair, I think a lot of that is down to our educations. Schools do not give students a good understanding of why our system is so much better than other systems. This needs to change. In order to continue the ideological war (and it is a war - and one worth fighting) we need to give the next generation the passion for our political system.

An Oregon man who was reported missing by his wife has turned up...

He and his wife had a fight in which she told him if he didn't like things, he could just leave. So he did.

For a week.

Fishing.

No big deal, except for the fact that he didn't tell anyone (especially his wife) where he was going, and police from three counties got involved in what became a missing persons case.
