The Nanny Diaries - big girl Suri steps out without Mummy or Daddy in JCrew

Can you believe little Suri Cruise will be 4 on Sunday? She looks all grown up on an outing with her nanny (no sign of Mummy Holmes or Daddy Cruise) in NYC earlier this week. Wearing two cute clips in her now very long hair and black ballet flats with socks, Suri is wearing a pretty little JCrew crewcuts Cozy Cotton Tunic Dress in Bright Coral and she is clutching a Webkinz Virtual Velvety Elephant Pet Plush toy - isn't he cute? Suri HEARTS Australian fashion

I apologise for the minimal posting of late - I am finally back online tonight as we have just moved to our beautiful new farm and I have spent the last week packing and unpacking boxes, cleaning the new house, organising tradesmen and adjusting the girls to their new schedule. It is safe to say we all love it out here - it is so peaceful and pretty. It sounds so cliched but we are awoken every morning by a family of kookaburras - so very Australian! Speaking of all things Australian, I have been catching up on all things Suri from my friend Vania's website Suri Cruise Italia and it appears that Katie & Suri spent alot of time during their stay here in Australia shopping up big with some of our wonderful local children's labels. This week in Boston Suri has been seen in seed (of which the Cruise's are big fans, having several pieces from their collection), Polka (I love all their prints!) & Mini Metalicus (who have a fabulous women's label as well). Back in July, Suri was seen out and about in Melbourne in local label Moppit. Well, get your shopping shoes back on girls - they are on sale! Mommy's High Heel Shoes - what a great idea for a book and inspiration for my new weekly shoe feature..watch this space

A friend of mine sent me the link to this book - it's called Mommy's High Heel Shoes. The illustrations are just delightful and I am thinking about getting a copy for Gigi for Christmas. It has also inspired me to start up a new weekly roundup of celebrity baby shoes which will also feature some fantastic children's footwear designers from around the world. I have lots of shoe featured blogs in the "Funky Little Feet" category, including some pretty Australian designs worn by Suri Cruise in her stay here in Australia. Suri Cruise - putting her best foot forward - a week in shoes

So many pairs of new shoes - lucky gal! Gigi would love to see what else Suri has in her shoe closet right now. Here are a few of the shoes she was seen "stepping out" in this week (from left to right):

UPDATE: Thanks Stardust, the pink ballet flats are actually from Seed and not Monsoon as I mentioned previously - Katie Holmes is a fan of Seed, having shopped up a storm in the Australian boutique this week so no doubt we will see Suri wearing some more of their collection during her stay here in Australia. I am a big fan of Seed and Stardust, though I agree they are a very close match for the Monsoon pair, in fashion there are, and will always be designs with similar styles and construction and Seed wouldn't be the first label to be accused of having something similar to another label. Clone Zone - How to work an ivory silk dress like Suri and JCrew crewcuts

Loving little Suri's ivory silk dress that she wore this week in Melbourne while out and about with her superstar mummy & daddy, Katie Holmes & Tom Cruise. I haven't yet established the origin of this particular dress but found some similar dresses from JCrew crewcuts, a fave label of First Lady Michelle Obama. From left to right above we have the following:

UPDATE: Thanks to info on Stardust's blog, the dress Suri is wearing is from the upcoming summer collection from Aussie kids designer label Tiddles & Chinch. A cotton version is available through the Ten Little Indians online boutique. I must admit, I have not come across this label before - they have been around since March 2008 and are based in South Australia but I recommend you check out their website - they have some really cute separates and I particularly love their peacoats.

No Suri sighting in Melbourne but we share a love of Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons

I have had a lovely weekend in Melbourne with my husband, allowing Gigi & Lulu some time with their grandparents and aunty. We went to see Jersey Boys on Saturday night and all I can say is :

OH WHAT A NIGHT!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons (almost as much as I love red shoes!) and the show did not disappoint, in fact it was outstanding.

On high rotation on my Ipod and in the car, I picked up the Jersey Kids CD for my girls to sing along to - it is a sweet instrumental of the most popular songs especially for little Four Seasons groupies.

When we got back I went to the Jersey Boys blog to have a read through and look who I found is also a fan...our favourite little celebrity princess Suri, who was given a copy of the CD by Bailee Madison, Katie's co-star in the movie she is making here in Australia. Being in the same city as Suri was exciting, though I doubted I would bump into her (or her daddy who flew into town the same day we did). So though there was no Suri sighting to report, I did have a lovely weekend (took in Sydney Swan Michael O'Loughlin's 300th AFL game at the MCG as well which was great), and look forward to finding more beautiful little girls things to share with you all : )

Suri Cruise is a little Moppit!

Moppit is one of my FAVE online boutiques (I told you all about a cute cupcake puzzle Gigi & Lulu got from them last year) and our favourite little celebrity princess was spotted in Moppit this week while on location in Melbourne with her mummy Katie Holmes. Suri Cruise was seen in the Charity Black Dress, as well as the Teal Footless Tights. To complete the outfit, Suri was wearing the Kidorable English Rose Dots Rainboots. You might remember Kidorable being the brand of ladybug umbrella that Suri carried in New York back in November

Clone Zone #2 - A lovely red party dress fit for a Cruisey little celebrity princess - can you guess who?

When Suri went to see Jersey Boys in Melbourne a couple of weeks ago, she was wearing a lovely red party dress with her JCrew animal print ballet flats . Though not sure of the actual origin of Suri's dress (Vania, maybe you can help me), I have found a similar style on the My Little Pockets website - called the Le Pink Fall Holiday Dress. Can you see the similarities in the beading? You know me, I just LOVE red anything!

Who loves you pretty baby? Suri goes to see "Jersey Boys" in Melbourne, Australia

Wearing her cute animal print ballet flats by JCrew Crewcuts, which she has worn a few times in recent months, delightful little Suri accompanied mummy & daddy to see the Melbourne production of the Jersey Boys last night. Suri was also wearing another gorgeous little red jewelled dress (watch this space for details). My husband and I are going to see the show later in the year since we didn't get the chance in Las Vegas in January and we can't wait. Maybe when Katie catches up with my blog, she might leave me a review in the comments section : )
PS: That was one lovely big woolie jacket you had on Katie - we know it is very cold in Melbourne this time of year but are you hiding something under there? A little baby bump maybe? We hope so ; )

Suri's Shopping Spree - Big by Fiona Scanlan at Myer Melbourne

We were close - Tom Cruise did in fact pick up the Sequin 20's Dress for Suri from the Big by Fiona Scanlan children's label, as predicted by us in our last Suri-watch post, bought while shopping in Myer Melbourne yesterday. The other style he bought was the Crystal Satin Tutu. Great choices for a little princess

NEW DETAILS! - Suri makes a splash at the Melbourne Aquarium and gets some new frocks from Big by Fiona Scanlan

Enjoying an impromptu trip to the Melbourne Aquarium, Suri Cruise held on to her daddy as a local mum took this tourist snap, beating the paparazzi to the punch! There were also reports that Suri and Tom went on a shopping trip without Katie this afternoon and bought a slow cooker at the Myer department store. I hope Tom bought Suri some gorgeous dresses by some of our fantastic local designers...watch this space : )
UPDATE - 3rd July 2009 - not only did Suri go to the aquarium, she took in a tree kangaroo at the zoo and on their shopping trip, daddy bought his little girl a toy kangaroo AND....wait for it..."two sequinned frocks". Maybe Suri will wear one out to dinner tonight to celebrate daddy's 47th birthday - Happy Birthday Tom!
UPDATE #2 - (Thanks Vania x ) - the dresses Tom bought were from the Big by Fiona Scanlan range, which we have talked about a few times in the past. Could it have been the Sequin 20's Dress? Or maybe the gorgeous set of the Show Girl Skirt & Winged Long Sleeve Top. We can SO see Suri wearing these outfits : )

Suri Watch Down Under! The Cruises arrive in Australia

Here is our first glimpse of Suri on Australian soil - she touched down with her parents at Essendon Airport in Melbourne and it has been reported the family is staying at pal James Packer's penthouse at Crown Towers. We can't wait to see Suri out and about with her mummy & daddy and hopefully in some Australian designer children's labels. Katie is filming a movie here in Australia so hopefully we will see alot of Suri during their stay : )

Suri Cruise is racetrack ready in Juicy Couture

Thanks to the lovely Vania at Suri Cruise Italia, here are the details of the lovely blue dress Suri wore to a NASCAR event with daddy Tom Cruise earlier this week - it is the Juicy Couture Smocked Terry Dress - it is such a great colour for Suri, who looks like she is growing out her bangs/fringe : )

We HEART Suri Cruise's shoes - custom made, one-of-a-kind Roger Vivier Ballerina Flats

Suri is wearing her one-of-a-kind Roger Vivier Ballerina Flats, which she first wore back in October, worn this time with the ankle strap. I am still trying to source the beautiful little dress Suri is wearing, seen here out and about with mummy Katie Holmes this week, so if anyone can help, please email me.
BTW - even though I hate it when people say this to me, especially after I have consumed a big bowl of pasta - some blogs I have been following are wondering whether that is a little baby bump under that shirt Mrs Cruise? Watch this space...we hope so : )

It's a Baby Gap Bonanza week for Suri Cruise!

Suri Cruise was first seen in this Baby Gap Sunset Collection Plaid Halter Dress at a dance studio in Los Angeles on June 13

A couple of days later, Suri wore another Baby Gap dress - this time the Bold Flower Party Dress in Whale colourway. Though she is not wearing them, one of the ladies in her entourage carries the crewcuts Girls' Salina Safari Patent Leather Ballet Flats that Suri first wore in Japan in March
