Cupcake Flavored Vodka
Cupcake Vodka. Yep. It's vodka. That tastes like cupcakes.
"Cupcake Vodka Original is six-times distilled to remove impurities while delivering a mouth-feel reminiscent of an indulgent delicious treat."I haven't tried this stuff, and I'm not sure I want to. I prefer to keep my alcohol consumption separate from my sweet tooth. And if this review from Gawker is any indication, it's probably a good idea to keep it that way. My favorite line from the review:
We're shocked they missed the opportunity to go for the sad girl with cravings trifecta and have a red velvet cupcake vodka with a picture of a cat on the bottle. But if you want a real laugh, check out the first comment!

History of Beer Cans
Dan Becker and Lance Wilson have released a book called "Beer: A Genuine Collection of Cans
." It's a very cool look at the history of how beer has been packaged, marketed, and sold over the years. Plus I'm sure there are a few old-school brews that you used to drink back in the day.

Liquid Lunch Drink of the Week: Dominican Champagne

Rick, Len, Roxanne, and Borna are in the Dominican Republic this week for the WAPL International Incident. Last time I was in Punta Cana, a tour guide for one of our excursions introduced us to "Dominican Champagne."
Ingredients:
- 1 bottle of Dominican dark rum (Make sure it's dark rum! No Captain or white rum or any of those fruity Bacardi rums)
- 1 bottle of 7-Up (old school glass bottle if you can find one)
Sure you can mix it in a glass with ice and all that stuff, but I prefer the way our tour guide did it. Dump a little bit out of the 7-Up bottle and refill the empty part of the bottle with rum. He called that "American Style."
Now if you want to drink it "Dominican Style," just do the opposite: dump a little out of the rum bottle and refill the empty part with 7-Up. That is some good stuff!

Oscars Drinking Game!
Just in time for the big ceremonies on Sunday, here's your Oscars drinking game!
(Courtesy of Movie Boozer)
(Courtesy of Movie Boozer)
Before the big show, everyone gets an Oscar ballot. They need to pick both who they want to win and who they think will win for each category. It’s not recommended that they be the same, unless you really, really like to drink. This is because:
You drink a shot of champagne (the four dollar stuff will do just fine) whenever who you want to win is announced as the winner of an Oscar.
You drink a shot of wine whenever who you think will win takes home the prize.
Lastly, you drink a shot of something assy (malt liquor, tequila, whatever you think a fitting punishment is) when somebody who you didn’t pick wins.
The winner, if you feel like getting shitfaced isn’t enough, is the person who picked the most think will wins. Tiebreaker is want to wins.
There you have it, an excuse to drink where you thought there was none. You’re welcome.
