Bandaged Bear Day - Friday 27th March

Today is Bandaged Bear Day - raising funds for the Children's Hospital at Westmead in Sydney, Australia. Donations received from the sale of the cute Bandaged Bear merchandise helps to fund research into childhood illness, the purchase of high-tech equipment and the provision of extra services for sick or injured children and their families. Having Gigi admitted here with an illness at 4 months old, I can't express enough how great a facility this hospital is. Also, a few years ago, before I had my two princesses, I volunteered at Radio Bedrock, which is the kids radio station and adjoining games room, situated in the Children's Hospital at Westmead. It provided the sick children with an outlet to go and dance, play games, draw and generally just forget, if for only a little while, their pain and the reason why they were there. One little girl with cystic fibrosis looked forward to just having her nails painted every week. I must say, it was one of the most rewarding things I have done in my life, the children there are an inspiration to us all and the staff who care for them are amazing. This is a wonderful cause so please dig deep today to support this fantastic hospital

You ruined the show Lady jerk face.

So I went and checked out Brad Garrett in Appleton. He's a funny guy,I was doing great until about half way through the show the lady next to me decided to do the whole cross the leg and start swingin' the foot thing. You know what I'm talking about? IT IS SO ANNOYING! The bad thing is she crossed over into my section of seat where my comfort zone is, so here she is hitting my leg with her foot in my "zone." GO AWAY. It's bad enough I'm on a man date and had to move closer to him. My fiance` will love this blog. Now I am in his "zone" and can't figure out why I am moving closer to him. This went on the entire second half of the show and I couldn't take my mind off of how mad I was at her for being in the "zone." You, Miss Swing The Foot, ruined the show for me. Keep your hands and feet or whatever else you have to yourself.

Onechanbara DLC (UPDATED)

I was checking around to see if anyone had posted a video of the various unlockable Onechanbara costumes since I only want to focus on the ones that look good and came up empty. I did happen upon this DLC listing on the XBL site.

According to some other posts, there are other DLC out there as well. The only catch is they all cost money. Only this Aya "Legacy" costume is free. I'll look into the next time I log in from my console.

It seems that we always get these days in mid-April, but it is here about 2 weeks early, the day where it rains and rains and rains. It makes you want to sleep in and not do anything all day. No one has any motivation, it's just blah. I always say look at the bright side, at least it's not snowing. 2 weeks ago, we had a foot and a half of it on the ground, thank God that's gone, because I really have the itch for Summer right about now. HURRY UP!

Blair revealed Ryan's powerful use of the word "Bliar" (a deliberate misspelling of Blair's last name) was a key part of his decision. "I realised that, for most of my life, I've been a 'Bliar', and it was time to take responsibility for that," Blair said. Bush also praised Ryan for his clever wordplay, adding that while he (Bush) had been to Harvard and Ryan had only graduated from a community college, Ryan was clearly the much smarter man.

"I thought I had the ability to do the job," Obama said. "It has now been shown to me that I was wrong." Obama told the world's media that he only wished he had realised he lacked the ability to lead the USA before he stood for election in 2008.
