Australian sacred cows
What are the topics we're not allowed to question? I'm going to list a few. Some of them I think should be questioned, others I think stand up to any scrutiny.
- The ANZACS
- Sir Donald Bradman
- Banning guns after the Port Arthur Massacre
- Kylie Minogue
- Aboriginal land rights/compensation
- Bert Newton
Can anyone else think of others? Obviously Bert and Kylie are a little bit up for debate. They're more living national treasures than sacred cows.
