Contingence by Edith A'gay & Steven James Scott | vienna 11 Festival for fashion & photography

On the third day of 11 fastival for fashion and photography in Vienna, the fashion designer Edith A’gay presented her Spring-Summer 2011 collection in live performance, and large sized photographs were showed from the collection. All pictures were made by the photographer Steven James Scott Also, the live compostion was directed by Mia Lagenstein.
Again this year the festival for fashion and photgraphy, was a great opportunity for young desginers to express themselvs and to show their collections. Unfortunatelly, I didn’t have too much time to attend to every single presentations, exhibitions and shows during the festival week, but one of these shows that I attend where really fascinating. I met new people there, fashion victims, and amazing photographers.
Vienna is getting a city of fashion so far, even though it cannot be compared to the fashion capitals, such as Paris, Milan, London or New York.  Thanks to the directors Ulrike Tschabitzer-Handler & Andreas Oberkanins, who created this amazing fastival - they gave to all fashion enthusiastic people a great week to remember.
This years festival campaign illustrates contempory art’s lasting influence on fashion,  which was conceived by successful artist Erwin Wurm, together with the amazing austrian fashion photographer Elife Semotan, he creates sculptures that represent a strong statement in fashion and art.
