just been watching this video of x factor india 2011, with x factor being in pretty much ever country of the world now, this x factor from india does have a different style of songs compared to most of the other x factor competitions with a more traditional india style sound.

just now looking forward to the american version of x factor 2011 now which is in its audition process at the moment, still a few months yet until we can watch the x factor uk and the x factor us on tv though this year, but won't be too long now until they are back on uk tv.

In the heat of elimination, the performers get ready to get on the stage once again. The show kicks off with a special duet performance of Mohd. Rafi Khan from Deewana Group and Anita Pandit from Sajda Sisters on 'Albela Sajan'. They get a standing ovation from all the Judge Gurus for their suberb singing and coordination. Then with a duo performance Geet Sagar and Amit Jhadav on bicycles on a Chalti Ka Naam hit by Kishore Kumar 'Babu Samjho Ishare'. After their lively performance, Geet Sagar shows his fine RJ skills once again. On a special request from Pritam, Aditya Narayan performs on the naughty Salmaan Khan number 'Character Dheela'.

Shovon, Piyush, Seema and Sahiti perform like professional stage performers Pritam's new hit 'Dhinka Chika'. Then the original song is played and all the Judge Gurus get on the floor to join the festivity and show their dancing moves. A huge fan of Pritam, Piyush requests Pritam to do a jam live with him on one of his hits. Pritam joins him on his special requests and they perform the soft rock 'Baatein Kuchh Ankahee Si' on guitars.

Finally, the moment everyone has been waiting impatiently comes, the results. Shreya Ghoshal and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's team remain safe and take a deep breath of relief. The two performers who will face each other in the face-off are from Sonu Nigam's team. Shovon Ganguly and Sahiti took the heat of voting and Judge Gurus feel disappointed to see them in Bottom 2. Sanjay Leela Bhansali questions the audience on what criteria they have been voting on. Desperately wanting to get another lifeline, Shovon performs on 'Bin Tere' originally sung by Shafqat Amanat Ali. Sahiti tries her best for her survival, but while performing 'Sunta Hai Mera Khuda' she forgets the lyrics and looses her grip on the song. Judge Gurus encourage her to catch up from in between and after a long pause she returns.

In the tensed environment of elimination, Shovon and Sahiti wait for their results with hearts thumping like thunder clouds inside them. They wait for their destiny and finally the Judge Gurus start voting. Pritam liked Shovon Ganguly's performance more than that of Sahiti, so he votes for him. Despite of the fact that Sahiti forgot the lyrics Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shreya Ghoshal cast their votes for her based on her past performances. Shovon has to leave the competition with a broken heart and dry tears in his eyes. A strong bonding between the contestants has developed over the course of time and they all shed into tears when they get separated from Shovon.

As one of the judges for X FACTOR INDIA' Sanjay has vowed to pick only the best.

Shreya Ghoshal: For Shreya life has come full circle, from a being a contestant on a reality show to being the judge on the biggest music reality show on Indian television. This gifted singer's first film "Devdas" not only saw her getting a Filmfare 'RD. Burman Award for New Music Talent' but also the 'best female playback singer' award. After lending her voice in more than 180 films and receiving four National Film Awards, she is all set to win hearts in her new avatar as a judge in X FACTOR INDIA.
