post kali ni agak drastik skit sbb sekarang ni pun ramai gak manusia yg membuang bayi merata2. tapi ni bukannya orang buang baby tp me and nina putting my Adli dalam kotak.. hahaha

agak2nya kalau aku jumpa baby yg ditinggalkan gerenti aku ambik bawak balik!! apa lah seorang baby yang tak tau ape2 ditinggalkan camtu je,takde rasa bersalah ke sebelum manusia yg nk tinggalkan baby merata ni?? hissshhh,klu aku jumpa org camni dh sah2 aku lanyak cukup2.

kalau dh terfikir nk buang baby tu baik korang tak payah ada otak sbb tak guna akal fikiran waras korang ngan betul. baik korang guna otak anjing ke!! *huissshh marah betul ni* aku ni bukannya ape,everytime baca news psl org buang baby ni sampai tak bernyawa,aku mcm nk kuarkan air mata je,apa la salahnya kalau baby tu bagi kt orang.. ramai lagi pasangan yang memerlukan anak. ada tu sampai berbelas tahun kahwin tp takde anak,ni manusia yg senang2 lempar baby merata tu,pi la bagi kt golongan memerlukan.

hendaknya ape yg manusia buang baby ni, dpt balasan secukupnya di akhirat dan itu doa aku utk golongan takde otak buang baby ni!!

Comic Book Special: Wonder Woman

I've seen nothing but venom about Wonder Woman's new outfit and while some of it is justified, there's a lot to like about it as well.

Before we get into it, let's take a look at this tidbit from the official DC blog:

"It’s a look designed to be taken seriously as a warrior, in partial answer to the many female fans over the years who’ve asked, “how does she fight in that thing without all her parts falling out?”) She can close it up to pass unnoticed…open it for the freedom to fight…lose the jacket or keep it on…it has pockets (the other fan question, “where does she carry anything in that outfit?”, it can be accessorized…it’s a Wonder Woman look designed for the 21st century."

Sounds like she is now more Batman than Super Man which puts the design choices in context.

That said, there are three elements that trouble me:

The pants - From the drawing above, it's clear that these are not just black tights. They have some light armor lines, the most pronounced is visible at the knees. However, in the comic panels, they are drawn like regular tights. So which is it? Either way it's utterly bland and feels lazy.

The jacket - I'm actually a fan of the shoulder pads. Even so, the jacket is just too ... practical. A jacket is what normal folks to wear when they are cold. Super heroes don't need it unless their name is The Shadow.

The choker - Again, big fan of chokers. They are sexy when done right. It definitely doesn't work with the jacket. The jacket is just not a team player when it comes to a choker. There are some women who find chokers demeaning so this is also an odd choice since the costume is a move to maker her more palatable to other ladies. Maybe they should have given her Madonna-like nipple spikes instead?

Okay, okay, so how is this different from all the hate? Let's go over the good stuff:

The gauntlets/bracelets - The one element of Wonder Woman's old outfit that bothered me to no end was her bracelets. They were plainlooking gold bracelets that could deflect bullets? Boo! These new ones have style and come up further into the hand. Daddy likes. Finally looks bad ass. Add in the fact that she can engrave WWs into her victims noggin or wherever and you have a complete win in my book.

The breastplate - Now this is how to do well-protected and sexy in one stunning package. If they could have carried this theme to the rest of the outfit while switching up the colors, oh man, homerun.

The headband - I have a hunch there were big debates at DC on whether to lose the headband altogether. I'm really glad it's still there because even on a "modern" outfit it still works.

The shoes - It's kind of hard to figure out exactly what's going on. Is appears to be part of the pants. Or not. What the heck, it works for me, especially the little star on it.

Flying Cars! Flying Cars!!!

It's about damn time.  It was a staple of almost any science fiction version of "the future" that we'd all carry small portable communications devices, talk to each other on video phones, and all drive flying cars.

Ten years into the 21st Century, nearly everyone has a cell phone (many of which double as computers, cameras, and more).  Video conferencing has become more and more ubiquitous - from companies using Skype for web conferences to lonely dudes showing their junk on ChatRoulette.  But despite what we've learned from Blade Runner, Back to the Future, and The Jetsons, we still don't have flying cars.  Where the hell is my flying car?

Oh... here it is!

Say hello to the Terrafugia Transition, which just got a special weight exemption by the FAA and will now be going into production for the public.  Of course the thing will cost about $200,000 so I can only afford one if I sell my house and live out of my new Flying Car.  But it would totally be worth it because I would have a FLYING F$%*ING CAR!

Now all I need is the options package that includes a Flux Capacitor.  And a copy of Gray's Sports Almanac.

so nk cari brand yg selalu guna dh selalu sgt so try la tukar angin guna minyak YU YEE CAP LIMAU!! wowww,harga dia boleh tahan gak laa yg botol kecik around rm8+ tapi xpe la saje nk try. dan ternyata sekali minyak tu bagus sebab aku tenyeh kt Adli masa lepas mandi gerenti dia akan tido lena sbb minyak tu berangin je.

Super Model Contest

Dystopia: The New Utopia

There has been a lot of discussion about trends in the writing market recently. It seems that one can't really jump right into the current trend, because when one finally finishes the manuscript, agents/publishers are no longer accepting trend novels because the market is "filling up".

The YA trend has been vampires since Hurricane Twilight sent teenage girls racing to the bookstores. Everybody wanted to catch the gust and wrote vampire YA (books that I still greedily seek out). There is now an overflow of unpublished manuscripts and agents are rejecting all queries that have the word "vampire" in them.

The current and near-future trend seems to be YA Dystopia. I actually had to look up that word (anti-utopia), and I get it; I like watching movies where the world is inside-out after some catastrophe, and I should be able to enjoy such books as well. Of course, a dash of paranormal wouldn't ruin it for me.

When I read about the dystopia trend, I immediately thought that maybe I should try to write one, but by the time I'd get it done, everyone and their cousin will have sent out query letters and agents will be rejecting all queries containing the word "dystopia".

One might say that unpublished writers live in a dystopian world and are desperately trying to reach utopia. I think that the only chance writers have to ride the wave of trends is by either having manuscripts ready before the tide hits to be able to ship them out immediately when their genre is prophesied to be the next big thing, or to be abnormally fast at creating manuscripts, and risking the manuscript being rushed.

If you want to break into the market, you'll have to write what sells; and what sells is the current and next trend. Kristin Nelson recently talked about how most queries she's receiving today are about ghosts telling their stories, psychics solving a mystery, vampires (still, as she puts it), and people seeing things in dreams that lead them on an adventure. Apparently writers are expected to think outside the box and try to invent the next hype, but at the same time it is difficult to sell the manuscript because it involves a great risk to publishers.

I have tried to be innovative in my manuscript and created paranormal beings that I haven't seen before. Now the big, hairy and nasty question is: are they too innovative for the publishers to take the risk?

Amsterdarn!

My first trip into Amsterdam... and I love it!

First impressions? It's cool.  It feels like New York because there's so much going on, and so many cultures present, but the people are friendly, open and lively.  I might even go so far and say "jovial".  One of my American friends later observed - everyone seems really happy here. I went with some friends to a pub to watch Holland play Japan (and you call it football here!)... and there was a child's birthday party going on (yes, kids in the bar!) and when they sang happy birthday everyone chimed in and sang along and cheered.

My first taste of culture shock came when I went to the bathroom and was greeted by a Toilet Token Taker.  Picture this: a man behind a table taking 50 cents for use of the bathroom! OMG!!! I laughed.  But the good news is he also has a plate of breath mints that you're welcome to, as well as a few bottles of aerosol deodorant that you can use!  

This street just near the Red Light has plenty of bars and weed.

Later I went into the city and did some shopping and touring around.  Of course I had to see the red light district (sorry - no photos - it's illegal to do that!).  It was early enough in the day that it wasn't really busy.  It felt awkward.  Women in lingerie sitting on a stool winking and beckoning men as they pass by.  These women aren't models by any means... and most of them look bored out of their minds.  Many are on their cell phones.  In my mind we have prostitution too - in Vegas it's everywhere.  I'd rather see them strutting in their heels on the strip than in a little glass cage on their cellphone.  Not that I'm advocating for either.

There was plenty of Orange Mania for the game!

I didn't spend long on my first trip - but enough to have some good laughs while people watching.  We went to the "Dam" which is a big square and an easy meeting place.  There was one man on a microphone who kept saying "Hello?" "Hello?" "Hello?"  "I'm over here.  I like attention".  And another guy had 4 dogs on a leash - and two more in a baby stroller!
