How to make travel plan

Most of us will go to travel several times in a year. Usually we will meet some unanticipated occasions, such as forget to take daily medicine, let your pet dogs alone at home, forget to take your cell phone charger, etc. So a detailed travel plan is needed and helpful for us to have a good travel. You can list all the things you should notice, and inherit certain items according to the planning.

How to make this travel plan? Then I will write some tips to help you to do the travel plans easier.

First of all, you should know the place you would go. You may travel with the travel agency. Then you should not prepare to know the place before you go. You just need to go with the guiders and follow their directions. However if you go to travel by yourself, you’d better do the lesson before you set out, including the vehicles, the hotels, the tour route, etc. You can do online shopping and book hotels online if you can’t contact the hotel directly. In addition you can see some online travel plan to get as much as information.

Secondly, list the stuff you should take, such as umbrellas, clothing according to the weather your destinations, daily medicine, enough money, credit cards, etc. However don’t take too much stuff for you just go travelling not making a move. Just take some necessities.

Thirdly, list the things you should notice, such as when you will get out, how to take care your home and family if you leave, make sure that your work has been done before you leave, etc.

Fourthly, if you travel with the travel agency, you’d better make sure that they have bought the insurance for you. It is important for nobody know what will happy when you go to travel.

In the end, before you get start to travel, please take the plan list, and check every items to make sure that you have finish items which should be done before you go. Then wish you a happy tour.

Sandwiches Around the World

If the prospect of meeting new cultures, exploring new lands, relaxing on tropical beaches, and seeing the wonders of the world up close hasn't motivated you to travel the world yet... I've got another reason that might just work: Sandwiches.

Delicious sandwiches from all over the world.  From the English chip butty (left) to the Swedish smorgastarta, it's a great excuse to get off the couch and see the world.

Check out the list of 15 Sandwiches from Around the World here.  Come for the Maine lobster roll.  Stay for the Men At Work song that's stuck in my head after reading #15.

My Three Songs: 11/23/10

  1. Slaughter - Fly to the Angels
  2. Bon Jovi - Lay Your Hands On Me
  3. AC/DC - Touch Too Much
Theme :: The new TSA pat-down procedures for airport security. Between the pat-down and the body scanner it's like being the slutty, drunk girl at a frat party. Before you leave, you're either getting groped or someone's gonna see you naked. At least it's not both.

Bye!

Image: www.alaska-in-pictures.com

I'm going to the USA tomorrow! The plan has changed and I'm going to Seattle. I'm so going to raid Barnes & Noble (if you see headlines in the newspapers - that'll be me!).

I'm not taking my computer with me, so that means that I won't be blogging or reading blogs for a few days. I'll be busy shopping my head off (I wanted to scream when I saw the price difference! Sometimes living in Iceland just sucks). And who knows, maybe I'll see that space thingy in the picture.

Anyway! Have a great weekend, and see you next week!

Tess

(I apologize for the excessive use of exclamation marks - but I'm going to the USA!!!!)

Chapter 53.5: A Child's Christmas As a Cat

With all the travel we'll have over the next couple of days, we decided to celebrate Christmas at home this morning. Though the cat usually wakes us up early, he seems to have started to understand Saturday means the humans stay in bed. So he wasn't as concerned as he often is, making sure that I get to my train on time. But he did seem curious about the presents under the tree -- some of which were for him.

I got out of bed around 9 or so and fed him and started some coffee, but his petulant mewing told me he wanted more. So I started to toss mice around. He loves this. It's his time to run and pounce and play. I enjoy it too -- as long as he's not gnawing on my heels. Seeing him zip from room to room, bounce the mice around like a basketball or swat at them like soccer balls makes me long for coaching sports.

Though he's a housecat, Riley loves the great outdoors -- the backyard is as far as we let him roam, and always on a leash. But during the winter (even as mild as this one has begun), he doesn't have the same number of visual stimuli as the spring or summer. Fewer birds, the squirrels are preoccupied, and the grass isn't as tasty as new spring shoots. Once the wife was up and I'd scrambled the eggs, it was time to open the presents -- including those for the cat. I got him a DVD of Swan Lake -- rather swans on a pond. There's birdsong and trilling insects in the background. It will entertain him while my wife works or if we're out for a couple hours -- as will the new mice we gave him and the stuffed cat that mews like it needs to be fed.

So Merry Cat Christmas, Riley. I hope you enjoyed it. Now if you could only learn how to clean your box by yourself.
