Forgotten 90s TV shows

Viper

Does anyone remember this one? With a Dodge Viper that could change shape into something they called a "Defender"?

Can anyone believe it ran for four seasons??? Crazy talk. Anyway, the basic premise was that there was a car that could change shape. And that was about it. Fans are here.

Space: Above and Beyond

Now, I loved this show. It only ran for one season (of course - only quality shows like Viper got four), but it was one of my favourites. Produced by two of the producers from The X-Files and Millennium, it was packed with storylines and ideas. Basically, an Earth colony had been destroyed by aliens. There were themes of racism against a race of invitro-fertilised humans, as well as the aftermath of a war against androids known as Silicates. Anyway, watch the intro, it explains it.

Doesn't that just make you want to take up arms and kick some Chigg butt??? ...yeah, the aliens had a kinda crap name. Especially if you're from Tassie and immediately think of Chiggers. Find the fans here.

Ned and Stacey

Before she was annoying the world on Will and Grace (or, Will and Gracie, as I sub-consciously just referred to it), Debra Messing was on a much better show called Ned and Stacey. Basic pitch was this: yuppie ad exec needs a wife to get a promotion in a family-oriented company. Flustered redhead needs an apartment so she can move out from her overbearing parents. They get married. I couldn't find the opening titles, so here's one of Ned's fake ads.

I actually found season one on dvd and me and my sisters watched it. Ned is a great character. Completely arrogant, self-absorbed, and unashamedly charming. Too bad they cancelled it at the end of season two on a cliff-hanger.

That's just a couple. Enjoy!
